Juha Häkämies, VP Market Development
One of the pioneers of e-invoicing services, Juha Häkämies is Vice President, Market Development at Basware. In his current role, Juha oversees Basware’s analyst relations activities. Before his current position, he managed e-invoicing operations for two years for Basware’s 1,500 buyer customers. He lead the development of Basware’s extensive inter-operator e-invoicing network, while also playing an active role in developing the Basware Business Transactions e-invoicing service. Prior to joining Basware, he worked as Vice President, Business Development at SysOpen Digia group and spent 12 years in various sales and business development positions in the international telecommunications sector.
Juha Häkämies has had frequent speaking engagements in several domestic and international seminars and workshops. He is also an active player in the European forums for electronic invoicing. Juha is a true visionary of the e-invoicing business and has a solid understanding of the procurement and invoice automation business development.
Mari Eklund is the Vice President of eProcurement Solutions of Basware Corporation.
Mari has been with Basware since the year 2000, occupying several business development oriented positions within the company, including Business Manager for e-invoicing and Vice President Product Marketing. She has also successfully led a Financial Shared Services program focusing on multinational SSC organizations’ needs in purchase–to-pay process. In her role as Business Manager for electronic invoicing unit, she was developing and launching the e-invoicing offering. In her current role she is responsible for product management, development and launch of Basware eProcurement solutions, including Purchase Management, Contract Lifecycle Management and RFx Management. Her international team develops the Basware eProcurement offering to meet the needs of the global customer base.
Mari has a background in financial management, controlling function and consulting in international organizations both in the private and public sector.
