Esa Tihilä
Esa Tihilä is Senior Vice President, General Manager European Business of Basware Corporation.
He has extensive management and business development experience is in ICL Group (Fujitsu Group Company) and Meridea Corporation as Group Executive Director and CEO. For example he has founded and run e.g. ICL’s e-Business operations in 1997 which grew from zero revenues to £160m revenues within 4 years. He is one of the founders of joint venture between Fujitsu and Nokia to fulfil Nokia’s e-Business needs which employs currently 250 people and he did run Meridea Corporation (2001-2004) – largest starting software business in Europe in 2001 for developing and productising customer interaction services of financial services industry utilising multiple channels like web, mobile, contact centres and branches. Mr Tihilä has held many Board of Director positions.
He is quick innovator and implementer of new technologies & business models and is strong and inspiring leader by character.
Jari Tavi
Chief Technology Officer Jari Tavi has more than 20 years of experience with IT solutions including enterprise and telecom applications, real-time systems and architecture of complex software based systems. Jari has demonstrated the combination of technology and business acumen in the international market over the years and in the roles he has held. He has also acted as a board member and advisor for startup companies and assisted in establishing product and business strategies for these companies in his related roles.
Prior to joining Basware, Jari acted as a Director of Product Strategy at Solid Information Technology, a pioneer and leader in autonomous and embedded data management for carrier grade solutions. Earlier Jari was co-founding Ztango, a visionary mobile solution platform provider which later merged with an American company. Jari also worked at Digital for over 10 years in multiple roles including Product Marketing and Channel Management, Senior Consultant in Technology Center and Ambassador for UNIX and AltaVista product lines.
Bernd Kosnar
As Business Development Manager, Enterprise Sales, Bernd Kosnar works with various international teams. He is involved in large international sales cases which often also have SAP integration and related topics on their agenda. Mr. Kosnar brings more than fifteen years’ of experience in the software industry, as project manager, software developer, analyst and strategist, to the table. For the past seven years, he has worked in various SAP related projects and roles. He also has extensive experience in training people in sales and on new technologies.
